The Bank of Nova Scotia, commonly known as Scotiabank, is one of the largest banks in Canada. Racon has completed and is currently involved in feasibility studies, and the design and the construction of a number of new Scotiabank branch banks and renovations.

Lafarge – Airport Road, Mississauga

Lafarge in North America is the largest diversified supplier of construction materials in the U.S. and Canada. The company produces and sells cement, ready-mixed concrete, gypsum wallboard, aggregates, asphalt, and related products and services. The products are used in residential, commercial and public works construction projects across North America. Lafarge North America leased the existing 60,000 sq. ft. at 6509 Airport Road building of which the interior space was demolished and Racon designed for new office space with conference rooms and dedicated data room and computer room. The design for the mechanical systems involved HVAC, Building Automated System, plumbing and fire protection. The electrical design included power, lighting, emergency lighting, fire alarm, security, data and telephone systems.

Racon helped with the selection of the building and then followed with total mechanical and electrical engineering and was involved with the construction for 97,000 square feet of office space and a complex data centre.
